Bottineau County Wildlife Club has been around for decades for the purpose of local sportsman to support and promote hunting, fishing, photography, birdwatching in Bottineau County North Dakota.
The club has a shooting range and picnic shelter near Thompson Lake. Conducts the hunter safety classes in Bottineau. Sends a couple kids to summer camp. Has a landowner appreciationg Game Feed in Jan, an Alaska fishing trip drawing and banquet in April. Monitors and provides input to government on issues affecting wildlife. Educational speakers are part of some meetings.
Regular meetings are held the Third Monday of each month Sept through May in the VFW basement. Informal campfires and target practice in the summer at Thompson Lake.
